Greetings Film Fiends and welcome to John Doe's Film Blog. 30 years of dedicated celluloid obsession has meant that I have seen a few films. Drawing attention to some of the lesser discussed gems that I love. Cult classics, obscure curios and quality genre pictures. Ralph Macchio is not the Sensei, he is a very naughty boy.



Ralph Macchio finally sweeps the leg in this mock trailer bought to us by funnyordie.com. Sending up his nice guy image and putting a kung fu grip on his place in the geek dojo of life. Here Daniel Son is a crane kickin’ fool, hitting the bottle, clubbing the white powder and paying homage to his Outsider’s Pony Boy glory.

Playing it straight, famous faces like Molly Ringwald discuss Ralphy boy’s attempts to become part of that 80’s posse known as The Brat Pack. Co-starring a few seasons back in Entourage, cast member Kevin Connelly better known as E even shows up with some testimony.

If Elizabeth Shue looked like this in the movie then Daniel Son would have never accomplished anything. - JD is a bad man.

JD better get himself a body bag and shut up now for fear of ruining this tasty nostalgia intervention that simultaneously comments on the rocky road of child stardom, Hollywood hypocrisy and exposes a recognizable face that has lost the spotlight.

So kick back, grab the Laruso action figure and giggle like you’re about to score with Elizabeth Shue.
