Leonard Cohen I am Your Man (2005)Documentary on the legendary lyrical poet with those he has influenced performing his songs.
I Spy (1965) 7 Disc Box Set
Bill Cosby and Robert Culp are “Wonderfulness”, this is the hit espionage adventure series that also marked the first time a black man had a lead role in a US TV Show. A clever comedy that was shamed when the Eddie Murphy/Owen Wilson remake was released, this is escapist entertainment for fans of Mission Impossible.

Gerry Anderson, (Captain Scarlett, Space 1999), the man behind the Thunderbirds creates his first live action TV series titled UFO. Re-edited it becomes the Shado File. Disney’s Robin Hood (1974) – Most wanted Edition
Another childhood Disney gem arrives with oodles of extra features. Still one of the best retellings of the shenanigans of the Sherwood Forest posse, it’s funny and rendered with typical flair.
Disturbia
JD hasn’t seen this Rear Window reworking but Shia Le Bouf is talented enough to probably hold his attention.

Nightwatch – Definitive Edition (2 Disc)
The first chapter in the trilogy, this brilliant Russian Vampire saga sees a truce between light and dark that has held for centuries erupt into a raging war in the real world. Johnyy is rubbing a crucifix in hope this version blesses us with the genius subtitles formatted as they were on the bigscreen.

Zodiac- Ok so this is a good news/bad news situation. The good news is yes the film is brilliant and worth owning for rewatch value. The bad news is this release is pretty much extras free and there are ripe rumours aplenty of a Directors cut 2 Disc edition within 12 months. Consider yourself warned. If you want to see the trailer and read Johnny D’s review click HERE
Woody Allen’s Scoop
Woody reteams with his Match Point muse Scarlet Johansen (Ghost World) for a tale that has Hugh Jackman (The Prestige) as a suspected serial Killer and Ian McShane (Deadwood) coming back from the dead, but it’s a comedy not a horror film.

oddly enough, UFO was one of my favorites as a kid...It was sometimes corney, sometimes funny, but always entertaining...
I think the producers knew what was coming down the pike, as UFO was far ahead of it's time...
Great review!
Take care,
Nick
Film & TV on DVD
I was a massive UFO fan too, though not surprisingly I love all Gerry Anderson's stuff (Space 1999 is my favourite).
Totally agree it was ahead of its time.
