Heroes - Season 1 DVD Release
Coming Soon: Heroes Season 1 DVD
Heroes, the TV soap opera for comic book geeks that crossed over into the mainstream aired the Season 1 Finale on NBC Monday night. Addictive episodic television, the hiatus is going to be torture for followers.
John Doe was hooked from the second Mohinder’s narration began, having just watched episodes 21 & 22 a sense of dread looms at the prospect of a 6-9month break. Easing the pain just a little is this good news from the underground.
Over at www.heroestheseries.com they are reporting on an August 28 2007 DVD release date in the U.S.A.
The 7 disc collection will include all 23 Chapters of the character driven, superhero saga. Exciting extra features too, which include an until now unseen extended edit of teh pilot by series creator Tim Kring. There will also be around 50 deleted scenes, Cast and crew commentaries and making of features that explore the FX, stunts and music. Plus there is also a segment on comic book artist Tim Sale.
Reminiscent of the illustrated works that inspired it, Heroes unfolds each week in the style of a serialized graphic novel. Operating on a Global scale, a small group of extraordinary individuals discover they are blessed at a genetic level with complex powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men and woman.

Thought this would make you smile
Hi Fashion,
Heroes emulates the comic book format and ensures a human dimension. That style is all about revealing plot points that dazzle and characters who are constantly in a state of flux.
Always a fantasy, using the staples of the genre.
The subtlety comes from reading between the lines and realizing the larger picture, while still delving into the destiny of the characters in the present.
Im always surprised at how many people like the show, considering its at heart a homage to a world many look on with disdain.
The Rubik's Cube
