"I missed the ‘Superman Returns’ boat, so I’m angling for ‘Star Trek.’ People are constantly telling me I bear some resemblance to Leonard Nimoy."

"Maybe Sylar should tell Greg, ‘I promise I won’t kill you if you get me an audition,’ …We’ll see what happens."
Still in pre-production with no official casting news yet, the next instalment of the Star Trek cinema franchise is an original series origins story, tracing the early years of Enterprise crew members Kirk, Scotty, Bones and Spock.
John Doe did an earlier post on casting for film, but failed to take this man into consideration. Still strictly a rumour, it’s an entertaining speculation. His often deadpan portrayal on Heroes alludes to intelligence and lends further suitable credibility.
With all sorts of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck rumours orbiting the project it’s nice to hear a more positive gossip point, though making yet another Star Trek film does seem redundant.

personally I rthink he should stick to his silent acting angst and leave the ears on the shelf...
Who else could ever protray Spock but Leoanrd Nimoy anyway?
Which begs an even more imortant question...Why are they making yet another Trek movie anyway?
Great read...
Take care,

No idea why they are making another Trek movie, especially one by such a generic TV writer.
I really only posted this one because I'm a huge Heroes fan and the photoshopped picture made me do a double take.
Leonard Nimoy is like Connery is to Bond, irreplaceable. With that said it is eerie how similar Zachary is to Nimoy.

I'm a bit of a sucker for origins stories in comic books, but on film they can be very tedious.
I didn't even know they were thinking of doing a Rocky the early years...besides I thought it was already made with Paul Newman in the 1960's under the name Somebody Up There Likes Me.. Directed by Robert Wise, this is my favourite boxing film.
