“What's the most resilient parasite? An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules. Which is why I have to steal it.” - Cobb

Writer/Director Christopher Nolan’s highly secretive film Inception promises to blow minds, melt eyeballs and inspire heated debate about deeper meaning.

What started as a Mind Crime viral marketing campaign has gradually sent John Doe into a frenzy of anticipation. Attempting to decrypt the Rubik’s cube plot clues this new footage has evolved to serve as a synopsis code breaking key.

Appearing in cinemas before Iron Man 2 the latest trailer gives us a clearer view of the psychological mayhem that resembles a cross between Dark City and Waking Life with lucid dreams cloaking reality.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio (The Basketball Diaries) as the central character named Cobb and JDM favourite Joseph Gordon Levitt (Mysterious Skin) as the adversarial Arthur.

The impressive cast also includes Ellen Page (Hard Candy), Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai), Tom Hardy (Bronson), Marion Cotillard (Love Me If You Dare), Cillian Murphy (Sunshine), Michael Caine (The Ipcress File), Lukas Haas (Brick) and Tom Berenger (The Dogs of War).

This science fiction thriller which according to its maker is "set within the architecture of the mind," is scheduled for release on July 16th 2010.

I didn't watch the trailer. I want to see this as cold as possible. But is the trailer playing before Iron Man 2 down under?
