Marc Forster to helm next James Bond film.

The Director of Monster’s Ball too helms the next James Bond!
So what does Marc Forster, the man in charge on introspective, dramas of emotional exploration like Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland,Stay and Stranger Than Fiction have in store for his next film? Bond, James Bond that’s what!
A surprising choice, over @ www.imdb.com they are reporting that there isn’t even a title yet, but Paul Haggis and the German born filmmaker are destined to work on the next tougher, smarter, grittier 007 adventure.
Human tank Daniel Craig will brand himself again with the mark of a super spy returning as the determined, lethal and detached MI5 operative with a license to kill.
What does John Doe think? Well if the rules of engagement established in Casino Royale are adhered to, there is potential for a thrilling and bold adventure with character.
Forster’s empathy and delicate understanding could be a perfect match, bringing some more insight into what makes Bond tick. The compulsive adrenalin junkie, vice abusing megalomaniac also has a vulnerable more human side that began to be hardened in the latest story. He won not with skill or ingenuity, but more often brute force and a competitive streak wide enough to make Hulk Hogan kneel in shame.
JB has frailties and fears in the Ian Fleming novels that seldom make there way onto the screen. From Russia with Love and On Her Majesties Secret Service being a notable attempts to give the cold man the Achilles heal of a heart without flippancy.
Sure to take itself seriously again, striving for authenticity and genuine punch, the subject is being mined as you read this blurb. The writing/directing duo we have working on it could smack us with a suspenseful espionage plot, explosive visuals and a rough around the edges portrayal that resonates, importantly existing closer to the real world.

We are an elite group of Dalton lovers.
Appreciating that he bought back the ruthless menace missing in the Bond of Moore and Brosnan.

After the delightful "arrival" [finally] of a 'real' Bond in the last one, well the anticipation is almost unbearable, isn't it?
Loved this teaser JohnD, look forward to more as they come to hand...

I think its a bold choice by the producers that might well pay off. To give Bond more of a human quality while still making him a brutal assassin will make the character all the richer.
How the dramatic side of Foster frames an action scene should be intense too.
