Manic Muppet’s Staring Contest.
Danimal versus Animal
It’s almost a matter of tradition now that with each new Muppet highlight that becomes a minor pop culture phenomenon (Do-Do-Da-dodo) John Doe features it here on the site. Most recently there was the Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody. Before that it was the Muppet movie posters. Earlier still it was a review of Season 1 of The Muppet Show to coincide with its arrival on DVD.
This latest morsel may not amuse everyone. Some may watch it and demand a 3 minute refund on their life. But others will have a smirk that morphs into a smile then becomes a giggle and eventually a solid belly laugh to match JD’s reaction.
Starring Johnny’s favourite anarchist monster with a hand up his backside, Animal is front and centre for this comic moment.
As the footage begins a presenter, lead singer of Chicago Rock Band Damian Kulash is interrupted and in whispered tones told that there is something weird happening. Following his band mate down a flight of stairs Damian enters a tension filled room. There he discovers drummer Dan Konopka has got himself into a bit of eye ballin’ trouble with the Muppet’s famous stick master.
To see what happens, watch the video below and keep an eye out for Zach Zach Galifianakis.

HAve you seen any of OK Go's crazy video clips?

The funniest Galifiniakis clip I've seen yet, and he doesn't even DO anything!

i was tempted to insert the OK Go clip that won them the Grammy but decided to focus exclusively on Muppet mayhem. Crazy indeed

Have you seen Zach's stand up, there are several "doing nothing" funnies to be found....though he peaked with "Between two ferns"

hmhmhmh - this is exactly what happened to me. animal looks like he's on some serious smack. I wonder if he throws tantrums before gigs demanding his A and R guys do a methadone run for him or else he wont go out on stage

No, the clip i was going to put on was for "Here It Goes Again" that won a Grammy....just watched the Domino one which is equally kooky in a good way.
Oh, to hell with it..here is the clip!

Animal and his tantrums are what made him famous
