Tarantino presents Hell Ride
Hell Ride - The Chopper with No Name
Acting as producer Quentin Tarantino follows on his Death Proof conquest of the petrol driven machine genre with a motorbike movie titled Hell Ride.
Directed written and starring Larry Bishop the film takes it’s cues from the Roger Corman school of 70’s movie making with bullet holed Sergio Leone atmosphere. In Hell Ride Bishop plays Pistolero a brass knuckled biker with a score to settle. Rival gang the 666’s murdered his Cherokee women and now with his gang the Victors he will ride with the Gent (Michael Madsen) and seek bloody vengeance.
Screening at midnight showings on this years Sundance schedule, this sounds like a good tongue in cheek treat. Throw in Easy Rider Dennis Hopper, a Carradine brother and a slew of saucy mamcitas into the brew, skin it up and you know this is gunna be a tequila worm sucking good time.
Now the first poster has arrived care of shocktillyoudrop.com and it looks appropriately retro with striking use of bold colours and font. The film could go either way, the press looks enticing and the promise of tough guy choppers, leather clad femmes and some pulp storytelling means Johnny D is already waiting to line up.

I actually dug on Death Proof for what it was and the movies it homages. It wasn't a great film, but it was a great example of that type of trash drive in film. My review is here if your interested.
As for Hell Ride it has guilty pleasure written all over it.
Always cool to have your feedback.
